TITANS BEGIN 4-DAY SERIES AGAINST THE LIONS IN JOHANNESBURG

As the Momentum Multiply Titans gear up for their 4 Day Series opener against the DP World Lions, the excitement in the camp is palpable. This match presents an opportunity to set the tone for the series, and the Sky Blues are eager to showcase their skills in the red ball competition.

Buoyed by their run in the T20 Challenge, the Titans are looking to get one over their Jukskei rivals at the next opportunity.

Rivlado Moonsamy whose had a blissful return to the Titans will be vital in the 4 Day Series campaign, having been their leading run scorer in the 2023/2024 season with two centuries and a high score of 130.

Captain and left hand bat, Neil Brand as well as recently recruited Keegan Petersen will be crucial at the top of the order, providing stability, runs and laying a good foundation with the bat.

Brand’s left arm off spin will be handy for the Titans at the Wanderers and he will find good support form the likes of Corbin Bosch, Dayyaan Galiem and Andile Phehlukwayo who will supply their all-rounder prowess.

The Titans will continue to play their aggressive style of cricket and make their presence felt against the Lions in Johannesburg with an emphasis on strong partnerships and building momentum, along with a disciplined approach in the field.
