On 16 July 2026, Titans Cricket had every reason to celebrate. The day started with the CSA Pathway Awards in the morning and closed with the glamour of the CSA Professional Awards that evening, and by the time the night was done, Titans players, coaches and support staff had collected an extraordinary haul of honours across every level of the game.

From the practice nets to the international arena, this was a day that captured just how deep the Titans talent pool runs.

The evening’s headline moments belonged to two of South African cricket’s brightest stars. Aiden Markram was named SA Men’s Player of the Year and SA Men’s Players’ Player of the Year, a double recognition that speaks to both his performances on the field and the respect he commands among his peers. Laura Wolvaardt matched that feat and more, being named SA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year as part of a remarkable evening in which she collected three awards in total, also taking home the Women’s T20 International Player of the Year and the Women’s One Day International Player of the Year titles. Two Titans stars, at the very top of the individual honours board.

The international awards kept coming for Titans Cricket. Lungi Ngidi enjoyed an outstanding evening of his own, walking away with three awards: SA Fans’ Player of the Year, the KFC Men’s T20 International Player of the Year, and Best Men’s Delivery Fuelled by KFC. Simon Harmer added to the club’s rich haul, being named Test Player of the Year in recognition of a season of relentless craft and control in the longest format. Dewald Brevis, one of the brightest young talents in the country, was named International Men’s Newcomer of the Year, a fitting reward for a breakout season.

Domestic cricket had its moment in the spotlight too. Duan Jansen was named Men’s Division 1 One-Day Cup Player of the Season, a superb achievement made even more special by the fact that it came in his very first season wearing Titans colours.

The morning’s CSA Pathway Awards had already shown just how far Titans Cricket’s excellence extends beyond the professional ranks. Head Groundsman Bryan Bloy was named CSA Groundsman of the Year for the fifth time, a remarkable achievement that reflects years of dedication to the surfaces that make world-class cricket possible at SuperSport Park and beyond. Jorich van Schalkwyk was named CSA U19 Men’s Player of the Year.

The Pathway Awards also celebrated the breadth of cricket at Titans Cricket. Mpho Selaone received the CSA Intellectually Impaired Cricket Player of the Year award, while Arthur McGee was named CSA Deaf Cricketer of the Year. Reuben van Zyl was named Player of the Tournament at the Khaya Majola Cricket WeeK.

Dressed in their finest for the occasion, the Titans contingent looked every bit as sharp off the field as they perform on it, and there was a real sense of pride and camaraderie among the players, coaches and staff who gathered to celebrate a season of shared success.

From the groundsman who prepares the pitch to the players who walk out to bat and bowl on it, and from the Under-19 setup to the senior international side, this year’s CSA Awards were a reflection of the depth, diversity and quality that define Titans Cricket.
