Multiply Titans unveil 2018/19 limited-overs kit

The Multiply Titans and Fain are pleased to reveal the new 2018/19 limited-overs kit, which will be worn across all white-ball competitions this coming summer.

Local fans will have wait to see the defending RamSlam T20 Champions in the new kit, with the Titans expected to wear it for the first time during their highly-anticipated pre-season tour of the Seychelles, before their next assignment in Abu Dhabi, where they will compete in the T20 Tournament, in the first week of October.

The two-tone shirt continues to pay homage to the franchise’s ‘sky blue’ heritage, with the light blue featuring predominately with a dark blue 'meteor belt' emblazoned across the centre of the chest and arms. Flashes of diagonal white stripes off-set the blue.

Mixing traditional with modernity, the T20 kit will feature, for the first time in the franchise’s history, a collarless v-neck, while the Momentum-One Day Cup shirt has a button-up collar. A subtle feature on the back of the shirt, is the stand alone Titans logo across the bottom. Light blue pants and pads will complete the kit.

The four-day competition shirt will remain the same as last season’s, with the addition of the Aucor logo on the leading collar.

Limited-overs captain, Albie Morkel expressed his excitement: “For us as players, the build-up to a new season is always exciting because we get to see what kit we will be playing in.”

“Fain has delivered yet another great design. The ‘sky blue’ identity is central to us as Titans, so it’s great to see that element of our culture strongly reflected in this design.”

“The new kit is lightweight and the breathability of the fabric makes it ideal for playing in and we cannot wait to get out on the field and chase some more silverware."

Speaking of the kit, the MD at Fain, Miley Ajam said : "With every design we strive to emulate the excellent performances of the team wearing it, and the 2018-19 kit is no different."

"The shirt concept embodies a 'meteor belt' across the chest which represents the team dominating its cricket universe with shooting stars entering the belt illuminating the performances of the team."

“The Titans, with its wealth of talent, is currently the foremost cricket franchise' in South Africa, and we anticipate the team will once again excel in the domestic competitions and we hope our contribution will enhance their chances of success."

Heinrich Klaasen, Rivaldo Moonsamy and Junior Dala showcased the kit to be worn in a once-off T20 against the Grand Kaz Kings this Sunday at the Stad Popiler in the Seychelles. The Gran Kaz Entertainment logo features on the left chest, with the tour accommodation partners, Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa, is positioned on the left sleeve with the Seychelles Cricket Association (SCA) and Mason’s Travel logos on right sleeve.

“It is an exciting prospect being able debut the new kit in the Seychelles, not only for the local spectators, but for the players as well, as we continue to take the game to developing cricket nations,” expressed Dala.
