The mood at SuperSport Park has been sombre since we learnt of the passing of our former Chief Operating Officer, Patricia Kambarami.
The news came as a shock and has deeply saddened the staff at Titans Cricket.
Kambarami was an exceptional administrator who embodied the value of excellence in her work and she elevated the standard of operating at the Union since her appointment as Marketing and Events Manager in 2003.
Her time with the Titans is highlighted by her involvement in the negotiations and conclusion of the title sponsorship deals with Nashua and then The Unlimited, being involved from the beginning of the Titans dominance in South African cricket. The eKasi Challenge, which happened from 2014 to 2018 was also the brainchild of Kambarami.
Having mad a strong impact at the Titans, Kambarami then went on to serve as Development Manager at Cricket South Africa and then Development Manager for Africa at the International Cricket Council.
Titans Cricket sends their condolences to the Kambarami family and will be in caring thought of everyone that was close to Aunty Pat.
Her spirited personality and jolly laugh will be remembered at the Titans.
