UNBEATEN TITANS TRAVEL TO BLOEMFONTEIN CHASING A THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

October 1, 2026

The Momentum Multiply Titans head to Bloemfontein on Friday, 2 October, with two wins from two in this season’s Pro20 Cup and a clear intention to keep that run going. The Sky Blues take on the Flexbrands Knights at the Mangaung Oval, with the first ball scheduled for 6pm.

The Titans have made a strong start under captain Donovan Ferreira, and their most recent outing was a statement. Against the Mpumalanga Rhinos on Sunday, the Sky Blues cruised to a nine-wicket victory. Sinethemba Qeshile was central to the win, bringing up his second T20 half-century, following his first in the opening home match of the season.

Ferreira says the team’s focus is on building on that performance. “We have started the season well, but we know every game brings a new challenge. Bloemfontein is a tough place to play, so we will stay disciplined, back our plans and keep the momentum going,” he said.

The travelling squad has also been strengthened. Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Rivaldo Moonsamy return to the Titans group for this encounter, while Roelof van der Merwe joins the squad on the trip.

Head coach Rivash Gobind is pleased with the way the group has approached the opening stretch of the campaign, and with the depth now available to him. “It is pleasing to have players returning and the squad looking so well balanced. The standards in the group are high, and the focus now is on executing well again against the Knights side,” he said.

With a trophy cabinet that already holds 22 titles, the Titans will be eager to turn promising early form into sustained success. Supporters can follow the Sky Blues’ progress on Friday evening as they look to make it three wins from three.
