The Momentum Multiply Titans head into the One Day Cup Final against the DP World Lions tomorrow at DP World Wanderers, with a 10:00 AM start time. The Titans, who boast an impressive collection of 21 trophies, will be looking to add a 22nd and close off their 2025/2026 domestic season in style.

The Titans have really proven themselves throughout the One Day Cup campaign and will be eager to finish the season with a trophy. The team’s journey to the final has been built on resilience and character, as captain Rivaldo Moonsamy acknowledges.

“We have had to fight in a few tough situations on the field, however it has built a lot of belief within the team and knowing how to handle pressure,” said Moonsamy.

Head coach Rivash Gobind has confirmed there are no changes to the squad from the qualifier against the Dafabet Warriors, with the only addition being Janco Smit, who will be included in the squad for the final.

Captain Moonsamy has outlined the team’s approach going into the final: “We will go in tomorrow staying in the moment, try not to get too high or too low, just focus on the next ball and keep things simple. I really hope we will add a trophy to our season this time.”

The Titans last faced the Lions in a final at the T20 Challenge Final last season and will be looking to defeat their rivals in what promises to be an exciting Jukskei Derby in Johannesburg.
