SuperSport Park have partnered with SBS Tanks who have installed water storage systems in the stadium.
The installation of three 20 000 SBS Water Tanks at SuperSport Park will provide both environmental and financial benefit to the precinct once installed and integrated to the municipal system.
It was in 2018 that the strategy of a greener and more sustainable stadium was adopted and aid in infrastructure and support supplied by SBS Tanks is hugely beneficial in that regard.
“Things really fell into place for us with this partnership. Explained SuperSport Park CEO Dr Jacques Faul. “It became evident that if you keep chipping away at a project the right partner will come along at the right time and be of assistance in the most valuable way.”
“SBS Tanks is making a significant investment in the stadium and added to that it will help us manage a natural resource while reduce the expense on our water bill.” Said Faul.
SBS Tanks have won a number of awards from the Durban Chamber Of Commerce over the years including exporter of the year and most productive company in South Africa amongst others.
They also believe passionately in driving nation building and have made donations of a back-up water security solution at a home for adults with disabilities.
