The Momentum Multiply Titans are back at SuperSport Park for their first home fixture of the 2025/26 4-Day Series campaign, as they prepare to take on their rivals, the DP World Lions from 14 – 17 October 2025.
The Titans will be eager to bounce back after a tough encounter against the North-West Dragons in Potchefstroom last week, where they fell short by 196 runs. The Dragons posted a strong 491/8 (134) in their first innings, with Schalk Engelbrecht standing out for the Sky Blues after claiming four wickets.
In response, the Titans reached 262 all out, with skip Donovan Ferreira leading from the front with a brisk 71 off 56 balls, while Lhuan-dré Pretorius added a composed 70 (96). In the Dragons’ second innings, Engelbrecht continued his impressive form, picking up three key wickets, while Gerald Coetzee contributed with two of his own.
The Titans showed resilience in their second innings, thanks to Keegan Petersen’s brilliant first century of the season, a well-crafted 119 off 220 balls, supported by Dayyaan Galiem, who added a valuable 64 (98), guiding the team to 258 all out.
Looking ahead to their home clash, Titans Head Coach Rivash Gobind shared his thoughts:
“We’re looking forward to being back at SuperSport Park and putting on a strong performance against the Lions. The team showed fight in Potchefstroom, and we’ll take those positives into this match. It’s great to have Proteas bowler Lizaad Williams back in the mix, and with Tsepo Ndwandwa returning as well, we’re confident in our bowling attack. Our batting unit remains solid with players like Lhuan-dré Pretorius, Donovan Ferreira, Keegan Petersen, and Rivaldo Moonsamy continuing to lead from the front.”
