Sky Blues kitted out for the new season

With the 2019-20 season just days away, the Momentum Multiply Titans are looking forward to stepping out on to the park in their newest kit, produced by FAIN Sportswear.

The Sky Blues will debut the latest version of the classic kit when they welcome the Hollywoodbets Dolphins to SuperSport Park for the opening four-day game from Monday, 7 October.

There is a new addition to the kit with a trophy printed on the leading arm, and the number six displayed in the centre, acknowledging the number of first-class titles won since the inception of the franchise era in 2004/5.

Another addition to the shirt is the kulula.com logo on the non-leading collar, which forms part of the partnership agreement with one of South Africa’s leading domestic airlines.

The limited-overs kit contains an optical illusion element, on the iconic, sky blue canvass known as the Mirage concept. While the Mirage may come across as serene, it masks a team with devilish intent for the season ahead.

Mark Boucher’s men debuted the kit in a friendly T20 against the Gran Kaz Kings during the annual pre-season tour of the Seychelles in August.

“We at FAIN take pride in being the technical partner of the Titans,” said Miley Ajam, MD at FAIN.

“The team’s excellent performance, along with a number of exceptional players who have huge international profiles, challenges and pushes us to produce apparel which is consistent with their performance and achievements. Our latest offering is no different.

“We are quite sure that the Titans’ opposition are well aware of what this team can bring to the table, and we anticipate this latest strip becoming synonymous with success and consistency over the next year,” Ajam continued.

For the players, the new design always brings a new wave of anticipation, and veteran Farhaan Behardien said that the team couldn’t wait to get going.

“The feeling never gets old. With the new season almost upon us, the anticipation has been building amongst the guys and nothing signifies that feeling more than receiving new kit.”

“FAIN have delivered with another awesome strip for us, and it is always enjoyable when we are part of the design process,” Behardien added.

While FAIN has become synonymous with consistently delivering quality and stylish kits for the franchise, the partnership has extended to the eta Northerns Senior Provincial side, who will be kitted out in FAIN apparel this season.

And, for the first time, Northerns Cricket Union will be making use of the FAIN Series Ball for the Club Premier League.

“In all our experience of working with Miley and his team, their product has always represented quality. Their new ball certainly upholds this reputation,” commented Cricket Operations Manager, Johan Muller.
