The players gym at SuperSport Park has been renovated by Skelcore, fitness equipment supplier from the Evolution Group.
The upgrades add a new look to the gym and sees all the equipment supplied being from Skecore, all aimed at assisting players perform optimally during their gym sessions which will transfer to the field.
With the upgrades complete, the gym will be for the exclusive use of the men’s and women’s professional teams while work continues on a secondary gym that will be available to SuperSport Park staff, ETA Sports college and SSE Cricket Academy.
At a breakfast held at SuperSport Park, CEO Dr Jacques Faul commented, “The value we get from a partner like Evolution Group and Skelcore is how they’ve prioritized the development and performance of our players all while making upgrades to the stadium.”
“Their involvement with us is multi-beneficial and long-lasting which aids us in our goals & objectives.”
The gym renovations were not the first project that Evolution group took on at SuperSport Park.
One of the prime additions made by the Group at SuperSport Park was the building of a Raleigh Bicycle Pump Track, which is made from 1 million recycled toothpaste tubes.
The pump track is available to all stadium patrons on match days where they will have a Raleigh bicycle to choose from and receive safety equipment before riding.
