Titans Cricket is proud to announce the appointment of Pierre de Bruyn as the new Head Coach of the Fidelity Titans Women’s professional team. A familiar face within the Sky Blues family, De Bruyn brings with him a wealth of international experience, a deep understanding of the game, and a long-standing connection to the Titans legacy.

De Bruyn joins the Fidelity Titans after a successful six-year tenure as Head Coach of the Namibian National Men’s Cricket Team, during which he guided the team to historic milestones on the global stage.

His coaching journey began in 2010, and since then, he has built an impressive reputation for developing talent and delivering results. In addition to his national coaching credentials, he has spent seven years in private coaching and was honoured with the prestigious Coach of the Year award at the 2015 Gauteng Sports Awards.

De Bruyn, a former Sky Blues player, began his journey with Northerns in 1995 and went on to represent the Titans from 2004. His appointment marks a true homecoming, made even more special by his long-standing connection with the Union.

Titans Cricket CEO, Dr Jacques Faul, expressed confidence in De Bruyn’s leadership:

“Pierre is someone who understands the Titans culture and what it takes to succeed. His work ethic, passion for the game, and proven track record make him the perfect fit for this role. We are excited to welcome him back and look forward to the impact he will make over the next two years.”

De Bruyn has signed a two-year contract with the Fidelity Titans Women, and his appointment signals an exciting chapter for the team as they continue to build momentum and push the boundaries of women’s cricket.
