Multiply Titans announce pre-season tour squad

Ahead of their historic tour of the Seychelles, presented by Gran Kaz Entertainment in collaboration with the Seychelles Cricket Association (SCA), the Multiply Titans have named their squad to visit the islands this week.

Led by the vastly experienced Albie Morkel, the squad is a combination of Sky Blue stalwarts and some exciting talent that will benefit hugely from the novelty of an overseas tour so early into their Titans' careers.

The side has also been bolstered by the availability of several national players, including top-order stars Dean Elgar and Aiden Markram, keeper/batsman Heinrich Klaasen, fast bowlers Lungi Ngidi and Junior Dala, as well as a most welcome return to action for all-rounder Chris Morris.

The Standard Bank Proteas all-rounder has been sidelined by injury through the winter, but the trip to Mahé will provide a welcome return to action, ahead of a massive season for the Titans and the Proteas.

The Titans will play a T20 friendly on the island against the Grand Kaz Kings, as well as holding a coaching clinic for enthusiastic young cricketers. The trip marks the beginning, in earnest, of a pre-season tour that will hopefully lead to another successful, domestic campaign.

The Titans leave for Seychelles on Thursday, 23 August, and return on Tuesday, 28 August.
