Titans Cricket is saddend to learn of the passing of Joesph Leon Pamensky.
A former president and honourary life member of the Gauteng Cricket Board and an honourary member of the Marylebone Cricket Club and Cricket South Africa.
Joe Pamensky was a dear servant to South African cricket and played a major role in bringing cricket coaching programs to black South Africans and led the rebel era which brought international teams to local shores.
“It’s always a sad moment when someone whose contributed so much to the game passes on. The best way for us to continue Jo’s legacy is to ensure cricket reaches every corner of the country.” Titans Cricket CEO Dr Jacques Faul.
1984’s accountant of the year (awarded by SAICA) Pamensky, donated a collection of books to Titans Cricket in 2019 including an original copy of the South African Cricket Annual from 1942.
