FIDELITY TITANS AIMING TO BOUNCE BACK IN UPCOMING MATCHES

November, 3 2023

The Fidelity Titans will be eager to turn their fortunes around when they come up against the Dolphins at SuperSport Park this weekend.

Their next bout will see them at home on Saturday 4 November and Sunday, 5 November, where they will go head-to-head with the side from KZN in both the 50-over and T20 formats. This will be the second time the Fidelity Titans are at home and they are determined to make it count.

Fidelity Titans captain, Robyn Searle recognizes the importance of the two-week break leading up to these crucial matches. “During this period, the team has focused on sharpening their skills in the field, an area that we saw needed some work in our early matches. We really want to get onto the park and set the tone this weekend”.

“We’ve also had individual skills to work on, and I think we will perform well as a team overall if we work on those individual aspects,” she continued.

The Daisy Ladies have been working tirelessly during the break, going back to the drawing board to address their weaknesses and capitalize on their strengths. Head coach, Byron Fraser has been instrumental in devising a new game plan that focuses on teamwork and consistency. “We’ve had our fair share of setbacks, but we’re ready to put those behind us and forge ahead. We’ve worked hard to address the individual challenges and we look forward to the upcoming fixtures” says Coach Byron.

With an unchanged squad and the inclusion of national players, the Titans are poised for a thrilling weekend of cricket. Fans are welcome to attend the match for free and show their support for the women at SuperSport Park at 10h00.
