Multiply Titans’ top order batsmen Henry Davids and Theunis de Bruyn have been ruled out of today’s final round robin match of the CSA T20 Challenge against the bizhub Highveld Lions, at SuperSport Park.
Davids suffered a finger dislocation on Friday night at SuperSport Park against the VKB Knights. X-rays revealed he fractured his left pinky and the 39-year-old will undergo surgery next week.
de Bruyn, the tournament’s leading run scorer (348), will miss the highly-anticipated clash due to illness.
The Titans, currently fourth on the log, have been bolstered by the return of Standard Bank Protea, Tabraiz Shamsi.
The match gets underway from 14:30. Tickets are still available to purchase at the stadium ticket office.
