DAISY LADIES WELCOME LIONS TO SINOVILLE FOR PRO SERIES ACTION

November 7, 2025

The Fidelity Titans Ladies are back in action this weekend as they host their first home fixtures of the 2025/26 Hollywoodbets Pro Series season.

The Sky Blues will take on the DP World Lions at Sinoville Cricket Club, with the Pro50 match on Saturday, 8 November, followed by the Pro20 encounter on Sunday, 9 November. Both matches are set to start at 10:00.

The Titans last faced Western Province in Cape Town on 25 October, where they fell short in both the Pro50 and Pro20 fixtures. Despite the results, there were standout performances from spinner Paulinah Mashishi (2/39), Luyanda Nzuza (2/49), and debutant Angel Mngwenya, who claimed her first wicket for the Sky Blues.

With the bat, Robyn Searle, who captained the side in that series, led from the front with a solid half-century, supported by Luyanda Nzuza (35 off 60) and Eliz-Mari Marx (21 off 38).

This weekend marks an exciting return for the Titans as they bring cricket closer to their fans, with the matches being played at Sinoville Cricket Club due to Boktown festivities at SuperSport Park.

Head Coach Pierre de Bruyn expressed his enthusiasm ahead of the encounter, “We’re really excited for the challenge against the Lions this weekend. I believe we have a proper squad to take them on, a good balance of youth, experience, and energy.”

The Titans will once again be captained by Robyn Searle, with the squad boosted by the return of Proteas all-rounder Anneke Bosch, fresh from the ICC Cricket World Cup India 2025. Youngster Miane Smit is also in line to make her potential debut for the Sky Blues. Gandhi Jafta remains unavailable for selection.

Fans are encouraged to come out and show their support for the Sky Blues at Sinoville Cricket Club as the Titans look to secure their first home victories of the season.
