In a month which celebrated the Multiply Titans as Ram Slam T20 Challenge champions for a third consecutive year, here are your nominations for the bacher and co Player of the Month for December.
The spinner bamboozled batsmen across the country with his variations to finish the competition's leading wicket-taker with 16 wickets, 11 of them coming in December.
At the start of the month the Titans hosted the Warriors in a rain-affected match in Benoni and Shamsi grabbed the headlines taking three wickets in one over to reduce the visitors to 116-9 from their allotted 13 overs. He finished the match with figures of 3-22.
Having picked up a couple of wickets on the road against the VKB Knights (2-21) and WSB Cape Cobras (2-25), his best performance came in the semi-final, against last year's finalists, the Warriors. Playing in front of a sizeable home crowd, the 27-year-old claimed a crucial 4-32, his best figures in the tournament, to set the Titans 145 to secure a home final.
Possessing a batting prowess that renders fear in opposition death bowlers, the middle-order batsman accumulated 236 runs at an outstanding average 234, coupled with an impressive strike-rate of 165.
The 34-year-old backed his blistering 36 off 12 balls against the Warriors, with a match-winning unbeaten 56 to steer the Titans to a five wicket win against the VKB Knights, with just one ball remaining.

AB finished as the Titans' leading run-scorer, having amassed 259 runs from six innings. The international powerhouse scored an unbeaten 54 in the semi-final to chase down the 145 total within 16 overs.
Earlier in the month, the right-hander fell two runs shy of another half-century, striking an imperious 48 off just 19 balls against the Warriors, a telling contribution in the Titans' final score of 172-3 off just 13 overs.
