Multiply Titans head coach Mark Boucher has reaffirmed his commitment to the Franchise, amid a headline on the front page of today’s edition of The Citizen suggesting a move away from the Franchise.
Boucher, who is set to be named the head coach of the Port Elizabeth franchise in the T20 Global League later today, has expressed his excitement for the years to come at SuperSport Park after signing a two-year extension at the end of last season.
“I have a great relationship with my support staff and the players and this is where I want to be," said Boucher.
"I enjoyed a successful first season in charge, winning two out of a possible three trophies, and I am aiming to carry this winning culture into the new domestic season ahead."
Jacques Faul, Chief Executive Officer of Titans Cricket, added: “We do apologise for the misunderstanding caused by the headline. We have contacted the editorial staff at The Citizen to action a retraction.”
